WCHS GUIDANCE WEBPAGE:
The purpose of the Wayne County High School Guidance Web Site is to provide comprehensive student and parent information. Specifically, this site addresses the educational and career needs of students and lists dates of events, opportunities, and current resources and requirements of our student population.
During high school years, students begin to discover what the future holds for them. With a comprehensive developmental counseling program, students can receive accurate information, concrete experiences, and successful planning to take steps necessary to become productive and contributing members of society. Together, school counselors, teachers, staff, parents and the community can provide the most effective support for young people.

- To register, you must create an account at www.act.org. This is a national database, and we do not have access to your account. Make sure you store your username, password, and ACT ID in a safe place. You will probably need to access it several times over the next few years.
- Fee Waivers -- Juniors and Seniors who receive free or reduced lunch are eligible for two fee waivers. Stop by the counselors' office for more info.

The National Suicide Lifeline is an invaluable resource for our students. This line is open 24/7 for individuals who are having trouble coping, having suicidal thoughts, or who need to talk to someone. We strongly encourage each person to store this number and share it with others when needed.
